Since its inception in 2004, the ORBIS Canada Chinese Advisory Council has been a driving force in helping to raise funds and awareness for ORBIS's sight-saving programs in China.  The Council, which consists of professionals from the public relations, financial and medical sectors, launched its first campaign in 2006 and has raised close to $1 million for ORBIS's program in China.  With efforts focused on fundraising and building awareness, the Council expects the community will be further engaged in supporting ORBIS Canada's efforts.
