Ms. Alice Choy, advisor of ORBIS Canada, was proud to be the organizer for the 4th Annual Montreal Community Fundraiser held on Saturday November 14, 2009. The gala was held at the Bella Vista Reception Hall in LaSalle, Quebec.

 

There were over 250 guests who attended the event.  There were a variety of performances throughout the night, including a children's choir, lion dance and pop music performances.  The committee gathered about ten silent auction items and guests were actively bidding to raise funds for ORBIS. 

 

A team of dedicated individuals from the Association for Business and Community Development (a group of volunteers based in Montreal who donate their time and resources to assist with various fundraising initiatives) work hard to raise funds and awareness for ORBIS Canada in Montreal.  The total of amount raised for ORBIS from the past three events was over $72,000.  Special thanks to Ms. Alice Choy, Mr. Howard Tan, Mr. Victor Wong and Mr. Danny Mah for their ongoing support.
